At the Sunshine Community Center Network, our mission is to empower children with special needs and their families by providing a foundation of hope, support, and opportunity. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive community where every child, regardless of ability, can thrive and reach their fullest potential. Through compassionate care, tailored programs, and collaborative partnerships, we strive to equip families with the resources, education, and strength they need to navigate life's challenges. Our vision is to inspire a world where all children are celebrated, all families are supported, and all individuals are given the chance to shine brightly in their own unique way.

We are grateful for the collaboration with James L. Davis and LDI, whose expertise in leadership development and community outreach has helped us strengthen our programs and extend our mission. 

The Tim Tebow Foundation, led by the inspiring Tim Tebow himself, has been an incredible ally in our efforts to raise awareness and support for children with special needs. 

Their dedication to inclusion and creating life-changing experiences for children mirrors our own, and we are honored to partner with them in making a lasting difference in the lives of families.

We also thank Dr. Ben Carson, a pioneer in the field of medicine and a lifelong advocate for children with special needs, for his unwavering support. His contributions to pediatric neurosurgery and his work with underserved communities have inspired us all to think bigger and push further in our pursuit of improving the lives of children facing challenges.

In addition, Doug Clay, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, has been an incredible supporter of our mission, providing spiritual guidance and encouragement as we work to build a network that offers not just practical help, but hope and faith for families navigating the special needs journey.

Together, with the support of these remarkable leaders and organizations as well as many others, we are able to continue our work of empowering families and providing the essential care and resources that every child deserves. Our collective efforts are a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact that can be made when we come together to support the most vulnerable in our society.

The Sunshine Community Center Network was founded by Dr. Phil Willingham, a visionary dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs and their families. Inspired by his own personal journey, Dr. Willingham’s deep commitment to making a difference began with his daughter, Sunshine, who was born with special needs. Together with his wife, Rhonda, they faced the challenges of finding the right resources, support, and care for Sunshine—experiences that ignited Dr. Willingham’s passion to create a community where all children and families can find the help they need. Driven by a desire to ensure that no family feels alone, he established the Sunshine Community Center Network to provide comprehensive, compassionate services for families navigating the complexities of special needs care. Dr. Willingham’s vision, along with Rhonda’s unwavering support and the inspiring example set by their daughter Sunshine, has laid the foundation for a network that brings hope, support, and empowerment to families facing similar challenges. Their legacy is one of love, dedication, and the belief that every child, regardless of ability, deserves the opportunity to thrive.
